Thanks to the creative genius of Loriann Fell, part time library employee and writer extraordinaire, the Boo contest was born. Who is Boo? Entries came pouring in and what the library found most surprising is how many folks know who Boo is... or at least they think they do...! The competition was stiff and the decisions were extremely difficult; but choices had to be made.
The Hopewell Public Library is proud to announce the winners of the Who is Boo Contest.
ART WINNERS:
2-5 year olds: Maia W.
6-10 year olds: Spencer Myron Brost
11-15 year olds: Collin Peck

POETRY WINNERS
6-10 year olds: Théo Evans

STORY WINNERS
6-10 year olds: Patrick Willey
11-16 year olds: Simon Evans

We also received a unique entry that deserves notice - some anonymous individual took it upon him or herself to create a song about Boo. Just as the declaration of love for Boo originally arrived sometime in the wee small hours of the night, so did a CD that was secretly dropped into the library's book drop. You can find an audio link to that CD on this blog and on our home page www.redlibrary.org . We strongly suggest you listen to this wonderful 'ode de Boo'. The link follows: http://www.redlibrary.org/images/Cher-Boo.mp3
All winners are asked to stop by the library to claim their prizes and to have their photo taken for publication on the Hopewell Library website and "Planet Boo Blog". See you soon!

WHEN SHOULD I STOP BY TO GET MY PHOTO AND CLAIM MY PRIZE?
Hi i really think this website has a lot of creative imagination in it which makes it stand out but i have a small suggestion which might make it even more eyecatching to all the viewers.
Maybe the website could include a competition/quiz page on modern art for teenagers as well small children e.g 13-18 years and 3-11 years aswell so everyone can enter!!
